There hasn’t been any water at Lodgepole Springs for a least month or any where in that area. Dry Lake might have a little but it isn’t recommended going through the grasses to get it. The best source for water and still flowing good is the South Fork river at the meadows where the trail crosses going to Dry Lake. It is about 2 miles from Dry Lake camp so you can fill up when you cross it or hike 4 miles round trip from Dry Lake camp to restock your water supply.
Remember to have your Wilderness Overnight Permit and a Bear Canister is recommended for your food storage.
