There is only one complete loop that I know of in San Gorgonio Wilderness that is less than 18 miles range on established trails.
It starts and ends at Forsee Creek Trailhead. It use Forsee Creek Trail and Johns Meadow Trail with possible overnight camps at Johns Meadow, Limber Pine Bench, Trail Fork Springs or Jackstraw Springs.
It can be done in 2 to 3 nights and going in either direction. Most prefer doing it in 2 nights with the first camp at Trail Fork Spring and second camp at Limber Pine Bench.
The total mileage is between 16.2 to 17.1 depending which map is referenced.
Remember overnights permits are still required and are for each camp site on each night of stay. They can fill up quickly for summer weekends so plan ahead to reserve your camps. Permits can be submitted up to 90 days in advance by fax, mail or email using the form on our website.
