The route to the summit is passable via the Dollar Lake route from South Fork. As you approach Dollar Lake saddle, the trail seems to end in several feet of snow, but you can easily scramble about 100 feet up to the right up to the saddle. Then snow-free to the Little Charlton-Jepson saddle. From that saddle some snow patches up the north side of Jepson – but not icy and easy to negotiate. Once you reach the western edge of Jepson and circle around to the south side – no snow at all.
