San Gorgonio summit is passable with no problem via the Dollar Lake route from South Fork. Toward the end of the Dollar lake trail, just before the saddle, the trail appears to end in a good deal of snow. However, it is easy to make a right turn and scramble up the hill about 100 feet to Dollar Lake saddle. Then, no snow to the Little Charlton-Jepson saddle. Continuing up the north side of Jepson, you have to hike through some snow patches, but it is soft, not icy, and not on a slope, so not dangerous. Once to the western end of Jepson the trail heads toward San G on the south face of Jepson and is snow free.
