Hiked in to Dry Lake via South Fork trail on Friday October 18, stayed 2 nights at Lodgepole Springs camp before hiking out the same way on Sunday. Saturday was spent hiking the Sky High trail to the summit of San Gorgonio & back to Lodgepole Springs camp.
The springs at Lodgepole Springs was running well but not into the lake. Dry Lake has water in it still but not recommended as a water source, too stagnant. Plenty of water also on the way in at South Fork Meadows (as well as a spring in the ravine below Dry Lake off the trail, could hear it babbling away).
