We just did the Momyer-San G hike Thursday-Saturday (today). We camped at Saxton (5/21), summited San G and stayed at Dobb’s (5/22), and hiked out today.
We found snow starting at Dry Lake view. We put on microspikes and made it across slowly, but we went across and back when it was still cooler and that minimized postholing. That was a slow-going 1/2 mile and it was difficult to keep the trail with the snow.
