The Apple Fire burned the San Gorgonio Wilderness in the South-East portion. From the maps and what I have heard is that the fire burned up to Vivian Creek Trail above High Creek Camp near the switchbacks to the ridge. It didn’t effect the trail because SBFS had the trail open on 08-31-2020 for 6 days before closing it again for the El Dorado Fire on 09-05-2020.

Note the whole San Gorgonio Wilderness is closed at least until Oct 1, 2020 and Hwy38 starting at Bryant St is still closed except for residents.
