San Bernardino Sun: Crews rescued a 17-year-old hiker Monday, Aug. 29, in Forest Falls after she fell 15 feet and sustained a head injury at the same waterfall that has already caused several injuries and claimed at least two lives this year”.
The Big Falls waterfalls can be a hazardous area.
There are signs and notices warning the public but a few don’t follow the warning. I know this forum is mostly used by wise and informed hikers. You might be a great climber but the area around the big waterfalls is still closed.
Remember even though you are qualified, you don’t want others to follow you that aren’t.
