San Gorgonio Wilderness Permits are filling up for the summer weekend hikes, so plan ahead.
In one of the most heavily used wilderness area in the United States there is limited number of day hiking permits or overnight camping permits available to try to preserve the wilderness for all.
Vivian Creek trail day hikes and High Creek and Limber Pine camps permit quotas have been met for Saturdays through July 2017. San Bernardino Peak trail Saturday requests, Vivian Creek trail Sunday requests and all Saturday night camps are quickly filling, too.

Also there are some “day of issue” permits available at Barton Flats Visitor Center which is open Memorial Day through mid-October.
