I don’t remember specifically, so take this with a grain of salt, but the trail is only minimally tree covered. Lots of burn damage. Some shade/ trees on the trail around Fish Creek and Fish Creek Saddle, but other areas exposed. e.g. the trail to the summit from Fish Creek Saddle is essentially completed exposed.
