I am heading up Forsee Creek Trail to Jackstraw Springs this upcoming weekend. My guess is there is still plenty of water coming out from the springs as there seems to be water all over the mountains from all the other post. With all the water available I am curious as to what the mosquito situation is? Has anyone else had many encounters with bugs this season? Also is there snow going up to Anderson peak?
I was at Dry Creek/Lodgepole this past weekend (7/12-13), and the mosquitoes were not too bad. We did use Deet. My daughter got bit on the ankles, but she didn’t put Deet on her ankles.
