No Snow Hiking SGW
To all that want to get out and hike but don’t want the challenge of hiking in the snow but enjoy viewing it.
Try hiking the Momyer trail. It has an easy parking lot to reach with no snow. And the trail has no snow for at least 3 miles but with magnificent views of snow covered peaks.
Note that at the beginning of the trail it crosses Mills Creek which is still moving very swiftly from melting snow.
Also about a ½ mile further were the trail goes through Alger Creek wash, the winter storms have washed out the trail but it is marked to be able to navigate the path.
Happy hiking.
