Have plans Friday and Saturday for an overnight trip up at Limberpine. Wondering if I can get to the trailhead at Angelous Oaks. I’m getting conflicting reports since Highway 38 is closed.

Currently the road is open until you hit the Angelus Oaks fire station and the restaurant, you should be good to go.

The website link below confirms what Nick posted.  Looks like coming up the 38 from Mentone, the 38 is closed at Mill Creek Rd which is just past the fire station in Angelus Oaks.

Type in “Hwy 38” and click search and it will come up with the details.

      SR 38
