Husband and I are planning on hiking San Gorgonio via Vivian Creek this weekend. Looking for snow conditions. We hike in trail running shoes, and are planning on bringing our Yaktrax. Will this be sufficient or is the snow heavier where we will need crampons, etc.? Also – how are the mosquitoes/bugs on the trail? Will we need to bring bug spray and netting?
