this is a bit of a newbie question, but where is Lodgepole Spring? I’ve been to Dry Lake but didn’t walk around–camping there in a few weeks as part of an overnight trip to San G summit.
Just read it is “about .25 mile up the trail towards Fish Creek Saddle-9,900′)”, is the Spring elevation ~9200′?

you should however keep an eye on conditions to see how the spring is flowing close to your trip date. it might wind up being the smart move to carry your water up from the stream where it crosses the trail at the dollar lake / dry lake split. that water source is guaranteed year round.
