Anyone know if Trail Fork is flowing. I spoke with some people who were there a couple of weeks ago and said it was flowing.

My wife and son are headed there tomorrow. Any beta appreciated.

      Thanks

      Brian

      Brian,

In case you didn’t know, Hwy 38 is closed before Angelus Oaks.  Unless you are going up from Momyer, you will not be able to get to the usual trailhead(s).

forgot about that Mike. Sort of thought it’d be open by now.

      But thanks!

And to answer your question Brian, the water at Trail Fork Springs is only at a trickle at this time.  The water flowing from the pipe is dry, only water is puddling up from the ground and it takes a bit of time to scoop up the water and filter it.

As of 8/5/22 there are no plans to re-open Hwy 38, it remains from from just above Angeles Oaks to Jenks Lake Rd West.  All traffic to will have to re-route through Big Bear to get to the area.

      Glad to help, Brian.

Ranger Roxie- Thanks for your info.  I had plans to go to Trail Fork at some point so I appreciate the water report.
