    It depends on the trailhead. If there are restroom facilities then you need a parking pass. If you do not display a pass you’ll get a ticket but the fine is only $5

    I only hiked to South Fork Meadows.

    I hiked the South Fork Trail today. (Tuesday 4/21). There is virtually no snow until you get to the Dry Lake/Dollar Lake junction at South Fork Meadows.
