2025 SGWA Volunteer Orientation

The San Gorgonio Wilderness Association (SGWA) kicks off its 2025 season and invites you to join our team of dedicated volunteers.

As an SGWA volunteer, you will be involved in trail maintenance, staffing the Barton Flats and Mill Creek Visitor Centers, and patrolling trails on both day and overnight shifts. Last year alone, our volunteers contributed an impressive 25,000 hours towards maintaining, educating, and preserving the beautiful San Gorgonio Wilderness area.

Our volunteer program runs from May through September, primarily focusing on weekends and holidays. Please note that attendance is MANDATORY for the all-day training and orientation session on May 17th.
